Railways of Austria, Germany, France and Switzerland jointly Introduce new Night Trains

In the coming years, the geography of Nightjet routes in Western Europe will significantly expand.

Railways of Austria (ÖBB), Germany (DB), France (SNCF) and Switzerland (SBB) have agreed to open Nightjet services on the Vienna – Munich – Paris and Zurich – Cologne – Amsterdam routes in December 2021, Vienna / Berlin – Brussels / Paris in December 2023 and Zurich – Barcelona in December 2024

The ÖBB night train system Nightjet is constantly evolving and in high demand, reaching more and more European cities every year. It has political support from the European Union as it makes a significant contribution to solving environmental problems on the continent (photo: ÖBB).
