Saudi Transport Minister Chairs 10th Railway Board Meeting

Amidst ongoing reforms and upgrade of Saudi Arabia railways, the Minister of Transport for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr Nabil Al-Amoudi, has presided over the 10th meeting of the board of the railways to review plans and progress of implementation.

Alongside members of the board, the minister after the meeting inspected the facilities of the railways with top technical officials of the railways. Facilities inspected include various workshops including the ones for the maintenance of locomotives, tracks and wheels.

The minister survived recent cabinet reshuffle in the Kingdom and the board meeting appears to be his first major assignment in the New Year. No details of the meeting were provided.
