Infrastructure Financing: #Ethiopia Strengthens Partnership with #AFDB



Ethiopia is working on a project portfolio of over 1.65 biliton USD with the African Development Bank (AFDB), the Minister of Transport, Dagmawit Moges has disclosed.


THE Minister had hosted the Executive Director of AFDB, Mr. Cheproo Amos Kipronoh to review the implementation of Ethiopia’s 10 years Perspective Plan.


“I held a productive meeting with Mr. Cheproo Amos Kipronoh, Executive Director of @AfDB_Group, an important partner for Ethiopia with a total project portfolio of over 1.65 Billion USD of which 31% goes to the #transport sector.


“We have agreed to strengthen our partnership and collaboratively address some of the challenges affecting project implementation.

“It is my belief that @AfDB_Group will continue supporting the implementation of our sectors #10years Perspective Plan”, the Minister noted in tweets on Thursday.
