SITARAIL’s technical team has carried out major work to consolidate and secure the steel deck bridge (PTM) of PK 984+950 located in Boucle du Mouhoun, Burkina Faso.
This work, which required impressive logistics technology, is part of the continued execution of the maintenance and modernization program for the company’s railway works and installations.
Completed on April 30, 2022, the said works made it possible to further secure this PTM and the rail convoys when crossing the Mouhoun River.
Other similar projects are in progress throughout the network, in particular the Agboville PTM in Côte d’Ivoire.
Sitarail is the concessionaire operating the Abidjan-Ouagadougou freight focussed railway line.
