The Director General of the Tanzania Railways, Ndugu Masanja Kadogosa, has said that this training is the implementation of the practical training contract signed on July 4, 2022 in front of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. “This is the preparation for the operation of a modern train whose infrastructure for the first section from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro has been completed by more than 97 percent and the second section from Morogoro to Makutopora has been completed by more than 91 percent” said the Director General of TRC Ndugu Kadogosa
In addition, the General Director of TRC Ndugu Kadogosa has said that the organization has decided to use KORAL to provide practical training to TRC executives because the operation of a modern train in South Korea is 99.9% safe, this shows that they have experts who specialize in all aspects of operating a modern train .
Some of the fields in which KORAIL experts will provide theoretical and practical training are how to plan trains, train driving, train operation, train business, providing garage expertise and transportation in train operation. The training will be comprehensive and will be provided over a period of three years.
“In order to get an education outside of work time, it is good to have a good relationship with these experts from KORAIL because they will be TRC for a long time,” stressed Brother Kadogosa.
The Director General TRC has clarified that the operation of the modern train will officially start in February 2023 after all the test procedures have been done and agreed the transportation costs with the Land Sanitation Control Authority – LATRA.
